SM 100/50 PASSENGER SUBMARINE

This submarine series is basically similar to "Jacqueline" which was build in Belgium under licence. Most systems in the sub's engine room were however changed according to our operational experience.
Our tasks included project management, electric and electronics design, supervision of manufacturing, sea-trials and after-sales.

SM 300/3 "INATI" PASSENGER SUBMARINE, 1993

In fall 1992 our design team developed this new submarine concept. During this project 3D CAD software was first time used in design and manufacturing process. This enabled project's completion in just 8 months. Very different styling was introduced to break the traditional and sometimes boring look of manned submersibles.
Our tasks included project management, industrial, conceptual, electric and electronics design, supervision of manufacturing, sea-trials, operation start-up and training of pilots.

The SM 100/26 is the second passenger submarine type designed and the first build by ISMD Oy. It has excellent manoeuvring and operating performance and it's small size (length 12 meters) makes it easy to transport.
Our tasks included project management, conceptual, electric and electronics design, supervision of manufacturing, sea-trials, start-up of operation and training of pilots and end user.

SM 100/50 "JACQUELINE" PASSENGER SUBMARINE, 1990

This was the first actual passenger submarine of ISDM Oy. It exceeded in several ways the technical performance of existing pax sub designs.
Our tasks included total project management (design, classification and manufacturing), conceptual, electric and electronics design, supervision of manufacturing, sea-trials and after-sales.
During the past few years Nep'tune Ltd. has supplied spare parts and systems to this submarine.

SM 80/2 "KUUTTI" RESEARCH SUBMERSIBLE, 1989

The "Kuutti" was the first product of ISMD Oy. The original concept was to build an inexpensive recreational submersible. This vessel has been operating from Oil Recovery Vessel "Halli" since -89.
Our tasks included conceptual design, electric and electronics design.

DLO 300 DIVER LOCK-OUT SUBMERSIBLE, 1988

This DLO submersible was part of the deep diving system in Diving Support Vessel (DSV) "Skat". The submersible was not delivered with the ship due to shut-down on shipyard.
Our tasks included project management, electric and electronics design and supervision of manufacturing.

LS 250 PASSENGER SUBMARINE

This submarine started the tourist submarine business in Finland over ten years ago. The initial design originates to Scotland, but several improvements were adopted during the construction.
